Throughout this lesson we will be using Big Marketing Forum as an example.

It is recommended that you open a new window or tab with http://BigMarketingForum.com/Forum so you can follow along with the guide.

On the previous page you have just completed signing up for a new account at Big Marketing Forum. You will now need to verify your email address. If you used Gmail for your email your email will look something like the picture below. If you used another type of email you should be able to tell what to look for by looking at the pictures. In the first picture you will see the subject line of the email you will get. It will be from Big Marketing Forum and the Subject will say: Welcome To Big Marketing Forum. Click on the subject line to open the email. The RED Arrow is pointing to the subject line that you should click on in the picture below:

After you click on the subject line of the email to open it. You will see something similar to the picture below. Again click on the link that the RED Arrow is pointing to this will activate your email. This email also contains

your username and password to the forum, so you may want to save the email for future reference:

After you click the link above you will be taken to a login screen at Big Marketing Forum which will look like the picture below. Your username will already be entered. You will want to enter the password you chose in the box next to the RED Arrow. You can also login in the area at the top of the forum. Enter your Username in the box that the YELLOW Arrow is pointing to, enter your password in the box that the BLACK Arrow is pointing to.

When you have entered the information in either of these click the login button either below where the BLUE arrow is pointing if you entered your information there or by clicking the login button next to the 2 boxes on top.

You should now be logged into the forum and be ready to participate. On the next page I will show you how to set up your forum profile. This will help you get more traffic to your site! Click on the Next Page link below to continue. Again the page will take a while to load.
